Jenna Greig, MA, LPC
I focus on creating an empowering, safe, and compassionate therapeutic relationship in which you are the expert of your life story. I believe therapy is about more than finding solutions, from my view it’s about exploring and healing the root causes of your struggles. I approach therapeutic work from feminist, relational, and trauma-informed lens, along with evidence-based modalities to aid clients in reaching their goals.
I have experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My areas of experience include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, intergenerational trauma, grief and loss, couples/family issues, and life transitions. Some areas of special interest for me are eating disorder recovery, body image struggles, gender and sexuality exploration, and socio-political stressors.
My approach to therapeutic work acknowledges the significant influence that society and systems have on mental health. I believe it’s essential for people to be supported in advocating for themselves within systems that may not be designed with them in mind, through the work of liberation.
In my practice I use an integrative approach. Clinical modalities I utilize include:
- Feminist and Liberation Therapies
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
- Strength-Based Therapy
- Play Therapy
