Ashley Tobin, MSW, LSW

I am so happy you are here! I am passionate about helping clients of all ages navigate life’s challenges in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where your unique qualities and strengths are celebrated. I enjoy bringing a relational-based approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are in their journey and walking alongside them as they work toward healing and growth.

I have extensive experience working with children and their families. I also especially enjoy supporting moms in their perinatal journeys as well as individuals navigating family planning concerns including infertility and miscarriage. Additionally, I work with teens and adults to address a wide range of concerns with empathy and care. I believe in the unique strengths and resilience that each client brings to therapy, and I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each individual’s needs.

Some evidence-based approaches and modalities I like to pull from most include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-Focused CBT
  • Trauma-Informed Therapy
  • Family Systems Therapy
  • Attachment-Based Therapy
  • Strengths-Based Therapy
  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches
  • Narrative Therapy
  • DIR/Floortime
  • Play Therapy

Before beginning my work in private practice, I worked as a special education teacher and as a developmental therapist through the state’s early intervention program for children birth-3 years old with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. This background has given me extensive experience supporting individuals with disabilities and the neurodivergent community as well as experience with supporting learning disabilities and navigating IEPs, IFSPs, and school transitions. I am excited to meet you and honored to be a part of your journey!
