Kellie Seccombe, MSW, LCSW
I became a therapist due to my deeply-rooted empathy for people of all developmental stages experiencing personal and systemic challenges in life. At the beginning of treatment, I focus on creating a solid therapeutic relationship and meet clients where they’re at so that they feel safe to explore, grow, and find empowerment. I utilize a feminist relational and trauma-informed approach along with a variety of evidence-based modalities to assist clients in achieving their goals. I also believe in using a collaborative approach, whether with just the client and I, or along with personal and professional members of their support system.
Healing happens in relationships, both inside and outside of the therapy office. My career began in pediatric mental health, thus I have a heartfelt passion for understanding and nurturing the emotional well-being of children and adolescents.
I have a special interest in Women’s Health and empowering women to face the challenges of our society’s healthcare system. I am dedicated to supporting women in their parenting journey, exploring a childfree life, navigating gender-affirming care, better understanding their neurodivergence, and building community and emotional support systems.
I also enjoy working with LGBTQ+ individuals and families whatever their reason for coming to therapy might be. Additionally, I support neurodivergent individuals in understanding their unique brain and navigating a world that is often not neuroinclusive.
In my practice I use an integrative approach. Clinical modalities I pull from and my specialty areas include:

- Sand Tray Therapy
