Madison-Schieber

Madison Schieber, MSW, LSW

I have always been drawn to the power of empathy and, as a therapist, I make it a priority to incorporate this value into my work. I believe that by understanding and empathizing with my clients, I can create a strong therapeutic relationship that promotes growth and transformation. I understand that each individual has their own unique story and experiences and I am committed to listening with compassion and without judgment.

With a compassionate and collaborative approach, I strive to help my clients overcome their challenges and achieve their goals. I believe in using evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness to empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to work towards long-term healing and growth. Together, we will identify and understand stressors, identify positive coping skills, increase self-awareness, and recognize and celebrate strengths.

I have a history of providing therapy to individuals from all ages and walks of life. My background includes working with neurodivergent children in an outpatient setting and clients, from adolescent to geriatric, in a hospital with a range of different mental health disorders, trauma history, and life experiences. As a clinician, it is of utmost importance to meet clients where they are at as we work through different experiences, thoughts, and emotions. To help meet clients where they are at, I utilize various therapeutic modalities:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Strengths-Based Therapy
  • Play Therapy
  • Trauma-Informed Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
